Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Redemption Performance Training Pty. Ltd. handles information when you use Unmapped.
Information we use
Depending on the features you choose, Unmapped may use:
- Location details that you enter or select, including an exact starting place and coordinates, to confirm your starting point and build a nearby adventure.
- Your trail preferences, such as dietary, weather, transport, party, and theme choices.
- Clue answers, ratings, completion details, and photos you choose to capture during a journey.
- Anonymous purchase and entitlement information provided by Google Play, Apple, and RevenueCat so the app can unlock purchases and restore eligible subscriptions.
How location is used
If you use device location, Unmapped asks for permission and uses it to help confirm your starting point. You can instead enter a place manually. Location information is sent to our server to resolve the place and generate a tour using live venue information. Unmapped does not continuously track your location in the background.
Information saved on your device
Your saved journeys, clue answers, ratings, completion details, purchase associations, preferences, and captured photos are stored locally in the app on your device. Unmapped does not upload captured photos to our server.
Removing the app or clearing its app data removes locally stored journey information.
To request deletion of information associated with a privacy request, email redemptionperformance@proton.me. Please do not include passwords, payment card numbers, or private credentials.
Service providers
Google Places Platform provides live venue and place information for location searches and tour generation. Google Play and Apple process store purchases and subscriptions. RevenueCat helps manage purchase entitlements, offerings, and restore-purchase status. These services may process technical information according to their own privacy policies and terms.
How we protect information
Location requests are handled through our server so third-party service credentials are not placed in the mobile app. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures for the information we handle. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children
Unmapped is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
